Diya Aur Baati Hum Story

Diya aur Baati Hum, reflects a common Indian girl Sandhya’s struggle and love story. Sandhya wanted to become an IPS Officer form her childhood  She dreamt to be an example for the narrow minded people around her. On the other side Sooraj was a kind hearted and self-made person. He was not educated as much as Sandhya. Sooraj had a small sweet shop near his house. His shop was small but very famous.

Sandhya and Sooraj got married due to some strained conditions. Now Sandhya’s dream to become an IPS Officer has been broken. When Sandhya goes to her in-laws home(Sasural), she have to face many unexpected conditions. Her mother in-law is so strict. She also have to face iniquity with her brother in-low. Her brother in-low wants to grab the whole property.

The story of Diya aur Baati Hum, rounds around the Sandhya’s struggle and the love story of this unusual couple, educated wife Sandhya and uneducated husband Sooraj. Sooraj supports Sandhya a lot and she also supports a lot to her husband in his profession.
